There is a day

Here is the song we ended Abigail’s funeral with one year ago today. It is called “There is a day” by Phatfish.  The words are about the hope that Christians have and are fantastic.

The trumpet sounds
And the dead will then be raised
By His power,
Never to perish again.
Once only flesh,
Now clothed with immortality,
Death has now been
Swallowed up in victory

  3. Yeah, that’s pretty much it. That whole day was a strange, surreal, blur. I have images of the day in my mind but we took no photos. I can’t remember much of what was said by our vicar and, as for music, the whole thing is just one silent montage.

    • Hmmm, I understand.

We have found it helpful to talk to people who came to the funeral and hear their memories. Perhaps that would be helpful for you sometime and they may recall some of the details you do not. Need to be in a fairly good place to do that tho’ I guess.

      take care
